We are registered Childminders based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, providing flexible home-based care in a family environment. We are inspected by Ofsted to ensure we meet all the National standards and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage.
One of the greatest benefits of home-based care is flexibility for parents and the way that we can organise our day to meet the needs of individual children. Due to the small number of children in our care we can plan activities around each child's interests.
We also try to include regular visits to toddler groups and organise outings during the school holidays.
We have a very well equipped house and large garden with slides, swings, ride on toys, playhouse, etc.We have regular themed activities based around the children's interests and lead by them. These include arts and crafts, cooking, reading, music, outdoor play and exploration and helping to care for our pets. We provide nutritious, healthy snacks and cooked meals, which the children help to prepare. They even help grow the fruit and vegetables. We are currently growing apples, strawberries, grapes, gooseberries, potatoes, tomatoes, beans, cauliflower, lettuce, and sunflowers We can cater for all dietary needs.
We have numerous policies and procedures covering topics such as child safety, risk assessment, confidentiality, equal opportunities, anti-bullying and behaviour, and working together with parents. Copies can be obtained on request. For more information about Childminders see the NCMA website
Payments can be made in various ways.
We accept work based Childcare Vouchers, local Authority funding for 2, plus universal 15 hours and 30 hour funding for 3 and 4 year olds, as well as bank transfers, and cash.
